Be a part of what God is doing to expand Canaveral Port Ministry for His glory!

Your participation will help us expand our facilities to make room for our growing number of crew.

Mark Wodka, Executive Director & Chaplain

“When the current building was purchased in the year 2000, I’m sure the people setting up the ministry never thought they would need to expand on such a large building, but they didn’t know that Port Canaveral would become the second busiest cruise terminal in the world. They would build two cruise terminals with a ten-minute walk of the building. Now, Port Canaveral is looking to build a third terminal on the south side of the port which will further increase the number of seafarers. Now is the time to add capacity for ministry. We have had to reappropriate space for a growing package ministry. By adding a building, we can do things right and serve many more seafarers. Thanks for being a part of what God is doing in Port Canaveral.”

Our Expansion Campaign is divided into three phases as follows:

Phase 1:

Purchase the land. Phase 1 is complete. We have reached our goal of $750,000. Thanks be to the Lord for His provision and for all of those that gave to the land fund. We appreciate you!

Phase 2:

During Phase 2 we will finish our parking areas, landscaping and fencing. It'll be approximately $125,000.

Phase 3:

During Phase 3 we will build an additional building to provide more room for offices and expand our area for seafarers. We estimate it to cost around 4 million dollars.

SPREAD THE WORD

In 1997, Bill and Emily Richard had a vision for a seafarer ministry in Port Canaveral. They challenged the Brevard Baptist Association to support it and the Director of Missions, Harold Brantley, took up their charge and their obedience led to what has become Canaveral Port Ministry. Please help us spread the word about the opportunities that abound to support God’s work at Port Canaveral.
