  • Tonya Meister Esq.

    Tonya Meister-Griffith is a christian attorney that is board certified in Admiralty and Maritime Law by the Florida Bar. Prior to law school, she worked as a crew member in the position of cook for Blackbeard's Cruises. Working at sea was her inspiration to become a maritime attorney to help injured crew members and passengers. In 2009, she founded her own law firm Meister Law LLC where she handles maritime personal injury, sexual assaults and wrongful death claims.

    In addition to representing individual clients injured due to maritime accidents, Meister serves as President of the board of directors for Canaveral Port Ministry and the International Seafarers Ministry of Miami. She is a former legal counsel for Port Ministries International and former legal counsel for ITF International Transport Workers Federation.

    Attorney Meister has served in many leadership positions, including chair of The Florida Bar’s Admiralty & Maritime Law Certification Committee, chair of The Florida Bar's Admiralty section, chair of the American Association for Justice’s Admiralty Law Section, chair of one of The Florida Bar's Grievance Committees, and vice-chair of the Florida Admiralty Trial Lawyers Association. In addition, she has authored maritime scholarly materials and lectured at numerous maritime law education programs. She is highly respected for her insight and experience in this area of law, and has made appearances on television programs in the United States and overseas speaking on topics related to maritime law. Attorney Meister is recognized as a Florida Super Lawyer for over 7 years. She is co-author of the chapter on Personal Injury and Wrongful Death of Passenger in the Florida Maritime Law and Practice book published by The Florida Bar (both the 6th and 7th Editions).

    Attorney Meister received a bachelor’s degree in legal studies from the University of Central Florida and went on to graduate cum laude from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. She holds licenses to practice law before all Florida state courts, all Florida U.S. District Courts and the Supreme Court of the United States.

  • Kerilee Krzywicki

    Serving on the CPM board as the Secretary/Treasurer. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida. Over 16 years of working in public accounting with a current focus on international taxation. Prior to focusing on international taxation part of her role included bookkeeping, payroll, and not-for-profit taxation.

  • Laurie Klotzbach Curtis

    Laurie Klotzbach Curtis is a consultant with an extensive background in state government and public policy. A native of Plymouth, Massachusetts, she and her family moved to Cape Canaveral in 2018. Laurie, her mother Barbara, and daughter Julia are all active CPM volunteers who primarily serve in the package ministry where they enjoy serving together as three generations. As an avid cruiser, Laurie and her family love to build relationships with crew members and spread the word about CPM as they travel.

  • Jerry Thornton

    Jerry was born and raised in Dumas, Texas. During his Senior year of high School Jerry began dating his wife Kristy. They have been married for over 35 years. Jerry graduated with a finance degree from West Texas State University. After graduation Jerry and his wife Kristy relocated to the Dallas metroplex. While in the metroplex, Jerry worked in both real-estate and insurance. It was there in 1997 he felt called into full-time ministry. He studied at Southwestern Theological Seminary where he graduated with a Masters of Divinity in 2000. In the past 22 years Jerry ministered at three churches the last being Thomasville Road Baptist Church in Tallahassee where he was the Executive Pastor of Administration for 15 years. Jerry is currently the Associational Missions Strategist for the Brevard Baptist association. He has served in this position since April of 2021. Jerry has 2 adult children and 3 grandchildren.

  • Andrew Carrington

    Andrew Carrington has been the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Port St John since 2011. He also serves on the board of the Brevard Baptist Association. Andrew is married to his high school sweetheart Angela and together they have five children (you read that right, five kids!) Andrew is a graduate of Liberty Seminary and Dallas Baptist University. He loves travel, time with family, the Arkansas Razorbacks, good friends and good coffee.

  • Ismael Andriamasy

    Ismael Andriamasy currently serves on a cruise ship as an engine mechanic. A native of Madagascar, Ismael loves the Lord and has served around the world on ships.

  • Gerard (Rod) Brennan, CFE, MBA, PhD

    Rod is a committed Christian Leader and an ordained minister (State of CA) serving in the field and on the board of “Cypress Missions” - an outreach located in NJ dedicated to helping underserved communities and disaster victims in local communities and around the world rebuild and experience God’s love and good news as they rebuild and recover. Rod and his wife Mattie have been actively serving for about 8 years as regular seasonal volunteers at Canaveral Port Ministries in Cape Canaveral FL, driving, serving in the Kitchen, and conducting chapels. Rod and Mattie attend St Paul's “Board Walk Church” in Ocean Grove NJ when they are in NJ for the Summers and have led an interdenominational home church for the past 15 years both in NJ and here in Florida. When not “being the church” via home church/outreach they serve in the ministry or attend and support several local Christian Churches in the Cocoa Beach area (Club Zion, Point Church, etc.).

  • Sharon Seaman

    Sharon Seaman has been an active volunteer for Canaveral Port Ministry since 2006. She loves to share her faith and help others to come to know the Savior, Jesus Christ. As a Board Member she would be careful to see the resources God has provided the Ministry be used toward that purpose.

    Sharon has lived in Florida since 1957 and is Mother of three daughters and seven grandchildren, and wife to Steve for 38 years. She and Steve have traveled and assisted missionaries in Israel, Alaska, Chile, and also with Operation Christmas Child. She worked as an Administrative Aide for Volusia County School Board and Eastern Florida State College (Formerly Brevard Community College). She has lead Bible study classes in her home for the past 22 years.

    She is excited to be a part of a ministry that is growing and providing so many opportunities for personal relationships with people from all around the world. Sharing her own spiritual journey, praying for crewmembers, visiting with them onboard the ship as well as in her home, maintaining contact through WhatsApp, and loving them with the love of Christ, she considers precious gifts from God in her life.

    She believes God will enable her to use these experiences to assist with future goals with Canaveral Port Ministry.

  • Troy Brown

    Troy was born and raised in Melbourne Florida, but has lived the last 38 years in Georgia. He met and married his wife, Carol, while in college. They have two daughters who live in Georgia. He worked in the public school system for 29 years. He worked in the roles of staff accountant, director of accounting, and retired from the roles of chief financial officer and assistant superintendent in 2023. Carol also worked for the same school system and was a teacher there for 29 years. Troy retired early to be more involved in Christian ministries, wherever God leads. He is a Gideon and a CPA. He and his wife live in Fernandina Beach Florida.
